The Department of History and Political Science at Grace College resides in the School of Arts and Sciences and is quite small
compared to many colleges and universities. Yet this allows us to offer personal
attention to student needs and to mentor them in a way that is sometimes hard
to come by at larger institutions. Many upper-level classes have less than 15
students and when it comes time to write your “capstone thesis,” you’ll work in
the context of a small group of motivated students who’ll sharpen your skills
through discussion and peer review.
We offer majors in History, Social Studies
Education, and Political Science as well as minors in Pre-law, geography, and
public history.
